Free Public Police Arrest Records

We pride our society on transparency and accountability and we walk the talk. It’s demonstrated in the way we uphold our Public Records. Complete range of Public Records is mandated by law to be made available to the public, not least those pertaining to Criminal Violation. The more prominent categories within this group are Arrest, Inmate, Police, Sex Offender and Court Records.

One of the most well searched of the Criminal categories is Public Arrest Records. The key differentiation in it from the others is that an official arrest is documented every time someone is apprehended, detained or brought into custody by any enforcement authorities, including Military personnel, on grounds of suspicion or allegation of breaking the law whether or not it results in eventual incarceration.

Arrest Records are basically Public Records. That makes them accessible by the public as long as procedures are complied with. Police Arrest Records are obtainable from government agencies including Police Departments and even the FBI. This may be done by mail, telephone, in person, fax or online over the internet which is becoming a vastly popular method of retrieval. Public Arrest Records are also widely carried by commercial information providers.

Free Arrest Records are governed by state laws. As such, there are variations in regard to their access and use from one state to another especially in areas deemed to be sensitive or against public interests. Security, classified matters, individual privacy or where it concerns juveniles and high-profile personalities like politicians and celebrities are examples where treatment deviates from the norm. Outside of that, accessibility is generally unrestricted.

The opposite side of the coin to transparency is privacy. The laws forbid employers to ask direct and open questions about Arrest history during job interviews. In other instances, it’s simply touchy. Public Arrest Records are thus very useful for discreet checks and is widely, albeit quietly conducted on employees, social acquaintance, tenants, neighbors, nannies, care-givers, future spouse, prospective in-laws or any fishy people we come across.

A great deal of information about people can be derived from their Police Arrest Records. Typically, they contain the personal particulars and description of the individual, the details of each of the arrests such as the time and place, case number, warrant, agency, offense, and so forth. Related records which may also show up include bankruptcies and liens, civil judgments, tax offense and others.

The two basic versions of Public Arrest Records available are the free-of-charge (FOC) and fee-based ones. FOC sources are mainly found at government offices. While it’s also common for commercial providers to offer free searches, reports or any information download are chargeable. FOC records however tend to require further work so paid professional records are essential for official or legal purposes. The industry is fiercely competitive so you’ll get your money’s worth.

8 Ways to Sing Better Now (part 1 of 2) – Singing Tips Blog

Hi! Today I’m going to take the time to share some singing tips that will help each of you Sing Better Now. Some of these tips are detailed and some of them are more basic, but I encourage you to try out each of them as I find they are often beneficial to both beginner and advanced students alike.

Tip 1 – Open your mouth when you’re singing!

Singers who keep their mouths mostly closed are likely tense in the back of the tongue and are far from achieving their maximum tone quality. I like the two finger rule. If you can fit two fingers between your front teeth while singing (esp on an “ah” or “oh” vowel), then you’re good. If not, open your mouth more.

Tip 2 – Sing with a Relaxed Tongue.

After years of giving voice lessons I’m convinced that 65% – 85% of all vocal problems have to do with tension in the tongue. Worst part is most people aren’t even aware of it. Look in a mirror while singing. If the tip of your tongue isn’t dominantly resting on your bottom front teeth, then you’ve got problems. Relaxing the tongue more forward in the mouth will help.

Tip 3 – When breathing before singing, don’t take in too much air.

If you breathe in too much air before singing, then you create pressure under the folds that can easily hinder your ability to sing freely. It can prevent you from being able to sing overly high or low notes and almost always causes unwanted tension in your neck and throat area. To fix this, become aware of just how little effort is involved while breathing regularly, then try to mimic that sensation when you’re about to sing.

Tip 4 – Keep the larynx steady while singing.

If you don’t know where your larynx is, it’s where you adam’s apple is (or where it would be ladies). If this area of your neck it raising and lowering while singing, then you’re throwing off your whole vocal mechanism leading to numerous different complications. To become aware of this so that you can correct it, rest your hand on your larynx while singing and make sure that it remains steady.

Was Andrew Carnegie a Murderer?

Andrew Carnegie the philantropist and Scottish American gave away millions of dollars each year (and still does through his charitable trusts) promoting education and world peace.

However many people believe he was also a person who planned the murder of strikers in his factories in order to bring about his own riches.

Born and brought up in Dunfermline Scotland Andrew Carnegie‘s father and uncle were being constantly attacked for their radical political attitudes and actions. As leaders in the Chartist movement they were fighting for the right of the working class to vote and stand for election in the belief that this would bring about a fairer future for the world. At this time only the richer people were allowed to do these things. Only property owners were able to have their name on the electoral register to vote so only they would be able to represent the people and of course were able to maintain power and influence.

However the only way to gain political power was to take it away from the rich and they were the people who controlled the factories upon which the Carnegie family were dependant for employment and their survival. Their reputation as “trouble-makers” (certainly in the eyes of factory owners they were) meant they were blacklisted everywhere.

When Andrew Carnegie was only 13 years old the family decided to sell up everything they had left basically their furniture and borrowed money from other Chartist supporters and emigrated to the USA ending up in Pittsburgh.

Andrew took a job as a bobbin boy in a weaving factory but later moved to become a telegraph boy where he caught the eye of his employer who promoted him to personal secretary. In this position he was able to acquire an inside knowledge of how business worked and with hard work and very shrewd investments was able to start his own steel works. This grew to become one of the countries largest and when he later sold it he was able to pocket over 350 million dollars.

However his drive and ambition for new technology meant he was often in conflict with unions as he cut wages and introduced longer works to drive up profitability and win contracts eventually buying up most of his competitors.

Andrew Carnegie appointed Frick as business manager of his steel works was also known as a hard nosed business man when it came to fighting unions and they often brought in Pinkerton’s Detective Agency to defend their position. Pinkerton’s over the years had become the people to turn to when you wanted gunmen to fight strikes and had acquired a reputation for being violent in the way they handled themselves. The agency had even bombed a union HQ in Chicago and had been involved in a number of killings of strike leaders.

The Homestead Steel Works strike is known for its particularly hard fight with 10 men dying during a long gun battle. Although Andrew Carnegie was back in Scotland for the six months of the dispute it is clear from cables between the two of them that Carnegie knew exactly what Frick was doing and fully supported him in doing whatever was necessary to win the fight. As soon as the union caved in he went ahead and cut the wages even further as well as enforcing longer working week. 500 men were blacklisted never to work again.

Blacklisted from employment after being branded a troublemaker by rich factory owners rings bells with how Carnegies own family was punished so he obviously learnt some lessons, didn’t he?
