Entering this career in two years or less may be a simple as completing a surgical tech training program from a nearby school which offers healthcare training programs. There are many surgical technician schools to consider so do your homework and talk with a few of them.
Learn as much as you can no matter what career you decide on. A lot of related schools and colleges may offer programs that sould similar but are actually different. The differences can sometimes mean a big difference in your paycheck at the end of the day. For example if you ended up taking a 9 month course and you assumed you would then be qualified for a job that required an associates degree you may find out the hard way you choose the wrong path. Maybe you should have completed the two year program.
In the end, learn as much as possible to help you make your career decision. That is true in choosing the career as well as choosing the school and what program to take.
