Individuals who buy these types of health care products do so openly and are proud of their whitened teeth. This is not true of all medical conditions because some have a social stigma. Embarrassing illnesses such as incontinence can leave people feeling humiliated and helpless. Often people are so embarrassed by these types of condition that they rarely purchase incontinence products like incontinence pads from their local pharmacy. This is a shame because it is not a condition that only affects the elderly. It is a pity that people’s attitudes are not different, as it seems rather silly to be embarrassed about something that is a health condition rather than actions you can control.
